Baby Wipes . . is there nothing they can’t handle?

baby_wipes As mums, we all know that baby wipes are the ‘must have’ for any  home. Yet the crazy thing is, we end up using them more for other things than actually on our babe.

So, here are our Top 5 uses that we’ve found them perfect for – AND, we’ve left the comment boxes open, so please add YOUR favourites to our list (We want to see how big this can become!!):

  1. Removing hair dye – this is my personal favourite. My mum dyes my hair but always gets a bit slap-happy round my hair line.  I’ve never found anything that can get rid of it, apart from a baby wipe. Read the rest of this entry »

Internet Business Success Stories – ‘Izzy and Floyd’

“Here is a short little bit of info about the online Baby Gift Business I have set up. I’m a Mum who works from my Studio at home in Ruthin, North Wales.

I had the idea of starting my own online Baby Gift Store when I had Izzy my beautiful little peach of a daughter 21 months ago, and set the ball rolling. Then in Feb 2009 I lost my job due to the ‘Credit Crunch’ and knew that it was now or never.

I did try and get a local grant from the Council to help with the funding of my new venture but to no avail, but hey ho I was going to do it anyway with or without them. And that is one short bit of advice I would like to share. Don’t let anyone stop you with your Dreams. Yes it was a kick in the teeth when I was refused the grant but I just dusted myself off and well, the rest is history. Read the rest of this entry »

Catching up with the girls

It was Monday afternoon, and as always all us girls (sorry, I mean Mums) try and get together around one of our homes.
