Link Building – what is it and how does it help website SEO?

I recently found an excellent article on inbound link building written by a guy called Jayson Brown. Link Building is something I touched on within my SEO and getting up the Google Rankings article that I recently wrote. What I liked about Jayson’s article is that it followed a very similar writing style – no jargon, just straightforward talking. Getting up the Google rankings – otherwise known as ‘SEO’

Website SEO, or Search Engine Optimisation, is a fancy way of saying a simple thing – “Get me in the Top 10 google-logosearch results on Google.”

That is basically what everyone is trying to achieve. The golden rule is simple, if you can get in the Top 10 of Google (the first page of results) for key phrases associated with your website, then your objective has been achieved!

The Bluebird Cafe in Ferring . . our perfect August Bank Holiday!

We got out of the car and were instantly hit by that lovely, salty smell of the sea.  As we took a moment to breath it in Bluebird Cafe - Ferry, West Sussexproperly we realised that mixed in with it was also the gorgeous smell of breakfasts cooking……………..hurray we had arrived!

A late night ‘weather update’ text from one of the antenatal girls had assured me that the Bank Holiday was ‘going to be a scorcher’, in our house that means only one thing…………..breakfast at the beach!

The beach in question is Ferring and the place to be, as far as we are concerned, is the Bluebird Cafe.  An absolute gem of a place serving the most delicious food right on the beach.  We mainly go for breakfast – I love the salmon bagels, but my Mum and Dad go for lunch, and I definitely intend to have tea and cakes there one day too!  Read the rest of this entry »
